Style Over 50: Costanza Pascolato

I never felt as confident as I did the day I turned 70, it’s true.- Costanza Pascolato

I know I tend to overuse the word ‘chic’ but it certainly applies to Vogue Brazil contributor Costanza Pascolato.  At 75, she has far more style and panache than most of the young superstar bloggers on the scene.  Costanza was literally born into the fashion world as her mother was a textile importer.  As a young girl, Costanza often accompanied her to the Parisian couture houses and she became friends with Christian Dior, Cristobal Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent.

She later went on to have a career as a journalist and has worked in fashion publishing for more than 30 years.  Today, she is a regular fixture at all of the couture shows and bloggers clamor to take her photo.  Her signature style consists of bold sunglasses and her ever present pompadour which she wears elegantly swept back.

Costanza favors slim trousers cropped at the ankle (which I love! so Audrey Hepburn!), structured jackets and kitten heels.  She always carries a fabulous bag and never forgets to add a daring pair of earrings.  At 75, she’s still in love with fashion and loves following the runway trends that suit her.

Here’s to Constanza and always staying passionate about something you love no matter your age!
