Design can have such a positive impact on the way people live and on their relationships and moods.- Genevieve Gorder
It really is the golden age of design shows on TV right now. There are so many great series everywhere from Netflix to Bravo to HGTV. It couldn’t be more fun for design aficionados like ourselves. The other day we were browsing on Netflix and Genevieve Gorder’s new show Stay Here was recommended as a potential match. Netflix you know us too well. We started to watch it right away and after a few hours had binge watched nearly every episode. The premise of the show is that Gorder and real estate developer Peter Lorimer help struggling Air Bnb owners turn their rentals into successful businesses.

The combination of Gorder’s keen eye for design and Lorimer’s real estate expertise is a reality real estate show match made in heaven. In season one of the eight episode series, viewers are taken on a whirlwind trip across the country to vacation rentals in some of the hottest tourist locales. The dynamic design/real estate duo take on the renovation of everything from a floating Seattle houseboat to a mid century modern ranch in Palm Springs.
A Seattle houseboat gets an amazing makeover.
The results are truly amazing and allow the vacation rental owners to maximize their profits. I can honestly say that I wanted to stay in every single space!
